COPI manufacture innovative, low cost, small size rotary encoders including the following types:
- CP-200 Modular kit encoder for easy mounting. Sine/Cosine output provides continuous speed and position data for ultra-low speed applications. CP-260
gives square wave incremental plus analogue tachometer output. CP-270 accepts universal 4.75 to 30V supply and gives line driver output.
- CP-300/350 39mm square solid shaft encoder identical to a 39mm stepper motor. Sine/cosine up to 2,500 ppr, square wave to 4096 ppr. Absolute to 8 or 10 bits.
Special NB (Natural Binary), absolute-analog or 360 count (1°) options.
- CP-500 39mm square hollow shaft encoder offers sine/cosine, incremental and absolute 8 or 10 bit versions plus the same options as above. Max. bore size is 11m with set screw or 12.7mm with end of shaft mounting. CP-5X5 models feature incremental and absolute tracks for commutation.
- CP-800/900 size 25 (2.52in/63mm dia) solid or hollowshaft encoder offers incremental sine/cosine or square wave to 12,000 ppr (1.5 million with
interpolation), 12 bit absolute or 24 bit multiturn versions plus range of outputs, interfaces and combinations.
- Fibre-optic encoders CP-860/861 models are square wave TTL, in incremental or 12 bit absolute format and fitted with an integral fibre-optic link. The receiver is
housed in a DB25 connector.
- FD model pure fibre-optic absolute and incremental encoders for environments with very high levels of EMI/RFI, strong magnetic fields, extreme temperatures
or severe mechanical stress.
